Great Start Readiness Program (GSRP)

Welcome to Livonia Public Schools’ Great Start Readiness Program!

Livonia Public Schools’ Great Start Readiness Program is a high quality, state-funded, preschool program that focuses on preparing 4-year-olds to be successful in kindergarten and beyond.  Developmentally appropriate activities are planned by a qualified teaching team, who are responsive to individual strengths, needs and interests of each student.

The Great Start Readiness Program (GSRP) is part of Michigan's Free Pre-K for All initiative. While all children who turn four on or before September 1st are eligible, programs still follow prioritization criteria to determine enrollment, ensuring that children with higher needs or risk factors are prioritized. This helps target resources to families who may benefit the most from early childhood education support.
